Is Non-Alcoholic Beer Safe?

Posted by Chelsea F on

One of the most frequently asked questions on Google is whether or not alcohol free beer is safe. The short answer is yes. The long answer is, at 0.0-0.5%, near beer has a similar alcohol content as a glass of orange juice, a banana, or even a piece of chocolate cake - some pieces are bigger than others :).

Whether you’re pregnant, on prescription medication, or have an underlying medical condition non-alcoholic beer should be viewed as equally safe as a glass of juice, soda, or water. In fact, many of our customers fall into one of these groups and cite drinking our non-alcoholic beer as a way to enjoy the taste of a craft beer, be comfortable in social situations all while avoiding the potential harm of alcohol.

And, surprisingly enough, the fastest growing group of na beer consumers may be elite athletes. The New York Times published an article during the last winter Olympics highlighting the performance of German athletes and their strict regime of non-alcoholic beer consumption, not only because Germans love beer, but as a clinically proven sport recovery beverage. So for all you weekend warriors, aspiring and pro athletes maybe non-alcoholic craft beer is what can take you to the next level!

Oh, and did we mention that at just 10 calories per can and less than 2g of carbohydrates Partake beers are a great call for those on a keto diet and those managing diabetes.
